Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz may be starring in an untitled romantic comedy from Walk the Line and 3:10 to Yuma director James Mangold, Variety reports. The story centers on a woman with a horrid romantic history who keeps crossing paths with a mysterious guy she met on a blind date. Scott Frank, the writer of Minority Report and Marley & Me, is rewriting the script, which has passed through several writers over the years. Chris Tucker and Eva Mendes were reportedly attached to the project last year. Cruise and Diaz last starred together in Cameron Crowe’s eerie romantic thriller, Vanilla Sky, in 2001. 20th Century Fox will release the film, if/when it gets made. Cruise has been circling several possible next films, including playing the president in 28th Amendment, but has yet to commit to one.

Yuk – like Cameron Diaz – hate Tom Cruise – can’t imagine her having any kind of a romantic association with him…..but then I also love his wife – hummmm…maybe I just don’t like him and that fake smile (which I’ve been noticing lately on Obama).
Love them both (and Obama!) They were really good together in the pretty confusing Vanilla Sky. Let’s see if they still have that chemistry.
Well, I don’t like him, but I love Cameron: http://www.actressscene.com/search/label/Cameron%20Diaz
Tom Cruise is really not bad actor at all. It seems that people have to follow the band wagon to feel excepted in “Gossip Media”. Have you seen his website? Here check it out – http://www.tomcruise.com/
He is a good actor.
Valid comment about people following others perceptions. We all know Tom has been in films and making films for over 20 years. If he really was not a STAR then no one would buy tickets to see his movies or even follow entertainment news surrounding him.
P.S. Steve you are right about Tomcruise.com, its pretty awesome site. I highly recommend people who doubt his acting to visit it and then make their judgment of him. He has acted in way too many incredible movies.
Tom Cruise for president!!! Sounds like a good script.
I think Tom is a great actor. Steve I check out his site http://www.tomcruise.com and it really does show a lot of of his work.
