According to the Associated Press, Kiefer Sutherland said he will return to play Jack Bauer for an eighth season of 24 during an interview in Hong Kong while promoting his role as General W.R. Monger in the new 3-D animated flick Monsters vs. Aliens. Shooting is set to start in May.

Why wouldn’t Kiefer want to return another season? 24 saved his career from Direct to video/low budget movie hell back in 2001 and he could be labeled as an A-list star again once 24 finishes it’s run (most likely after season 8). Plus, it’s probably the best and steadiest paycheck he’s ever earned.

I am so glad that Kiefer is doing another season of 24, it is best show on tube, as far as I am concerned I hope that Tony stays on the show, Chloe needs some action on the show, so far this season she has been in background.They are all good actors on this show can’t wait for more.
maybe jack dies this season and for last season of 24 they go back 16 years before season 1. teri preg. with kim, a young senator named palmer is trying to get ride of the drazens, a german spy named nina joins ctu and falls for two ctu agents a single tony and jack baur… that be cool they could bring everyone back… keifer has always said he love show what in his past makes jack do anything for good old usa… or they could just have jack have only a month to live after getting the toxin in him from last night and next season will be 4 weeks after season 7.
