Roseanne Barr could be returning to primetime. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she’s joined forces with one of her former Roseanne producers, Caryn Mandabach, to develop a family comedy that has been pitched to Fox. Jim Vallely (Arrested Development) will pen the script. Barr would executiveproduce with Mandabach, Vallely, and Maggie Rowe. Last year, EW marked the 20th anniversary of Roseanne with an oral history of the show.

I hope it’s a smashing success! I love Roseanne. She challenges people and that’s something that clearly lacking on network TV. Bring it on, Roseanne!
Let’s hope FOX does a right with this Roseanne Project & not a failure like some (Arrested Development, Back To You, The Rich List, K-Ville, The Return of Jezebel James, The Next Great American Band, Firefly, Nashville & even Sit Down, Shut Up to name a tiny bit.) I love Roseanne because she really bring the domestic world to TV!
I loved the show roseanne, heck i still watch the reruns. i would love to see the connor family comeback some how.I’m sure it would be a hit…
