A short list of possible actors who could join the cast of Green Lantern, Warner Bros.’ big-screen take on the frog-colored superhero, has been circulating. Chris Pine — who plays a young Captain Kirk in this summer’s Star Trek — is among the top picks rumored to play Hal Jordan. EW was not able to get confirmation on the tip late Thursday. The film is expected to bow in September, 2010.

Thank you, Claude, for making me giggle.
However, I still can’t wait for a Green Lantern movie (Pine would be a bonus) — unless, of course, a giant, yellow puppet is the villan.
