NBC is set to produce an eight-episode reality competition series, The Sing-Off, for a capella groups, Variety reports. America’s Best Dance Crew’s Joel Gallen will exec produce the show, which will feature the singers performing popular, contemporary songs without instruments. The prize will be a record deal with Sony Music.
