No Kristen Stewart. Sorry to all you out there who like her, but I really don’t want Katniss saying things like “b-but… I.. I don’t even- what are yyou? I c-c-can’t Wwhat?! T-th-the Hunger Games? Wait, I… are you even serious?”
I would probably gag myself. And not Miley Cyrus. Let’s not mix singing and acting, here. I believe Katniss should be played by an unknown actress. There are so many people in the world who can act better than those who are celebrities, and they haven’t been discovered yet. Let’s let someone play it who can do it justice. As for the other characters, I’m fine with someone who’s known, as long as they’re chosen for their acting, not their fame and ability to get fans to see the movie.

I totally agree!!! Kristen Stewart would DESTROY the movie!!! But there is no way that anyone would be stupid enough to pick her… I hope. And Miley Cyrus. That would just make the movie into some tragic comedy. …k sorry that was mean. But seriously I hope they pick someone who is at least somewhat unknown and can actually act.

This article is making it out like its just 2 people forced to fight to the death, when its 24. The boy and the girl are simply from the same district (similar to a state in modern America). It was an amazing book, and Catching Fire (The second in the trilogy) was equally as pleasing. I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the third in the series.
I for one think that it can b pg 13 n still b awesome! I mean, lord of the rings was pg 13 n it was pretty gory! I also agree that kristan stewart shouldn’t b katniss. She’s ok as Bella, but common! In no way is she a good katniss! It should definately b new talent that goes on screen, n I’m personally hoping it will b me. I think I’m a good actress and would fit the part of katniss well. I’m definately better than Miley Cyrus! Lol o, n for u guys that have been wondering the movie will probably start filming in 2011. The author of the hunger games is gonna write the screenplay after she finishes writing the third book. This should calm some of u down! I dnt think that she would junk up her own book! She’ll stand true to it and make it an unforgettable movie! Just u wait!
OMG IKR! I mean, about the knew talent. Seriously, everyone keeps hearing about the SAME celebrities every single stinking time! TIME TO MOVE ON! Is America honestly gonna follow the same celebs for 20 years, and suddenly be watching old people on the big screen? Also, I, for one, loved the twilight series, and loved the movies too, BUT KRISTIN STEWART REALLY TOOK SOME POINTS OUT OF THE MOVIE. SHE AND MILEY CIRUS WOULD DO THE SAME TO THE HUNGER GAMES! Best book ever! no doubt, and Bttle Royal was nowhere close to the Hunger Games.

Oh my goodness. It’s mind-blowing how in denial some people are. Seriously. Okay, I’ve read both novels – The Hunger Games is a COMPLETE rip off of Battle Royale. It’s way too similar. Way, way too similar. I mean seriously. Anyone who can sit there and say it’s not a rip off either hasn’t read Battle Royale or is blinded by their love for The Hunger Games. It’s insulting to assume that Collins, when it comes to The Hunger Games, is original in any way, shape, or form.
I can’t wait for the tird book, MockingJay! When is the movie for The Hunger Games coming out???

i love the hunger games its an amazing book im reading catchng fire now and it seems pretty amazing to. im ready for the third one as well as the movie. i really hope they make the movie have blood and gore because the book does a good job describing it but whats the fun in not seeing what the good folks of panem see every year. nothing censored

OMG i really want to try out for Katniss but I think Im prob too young. Even if i’m like a smaller character like prim or rue but i think it would be so fun! but idk wen the auditions are… or where for that matter
