David Hayter, who co-wrote Watchmen with Alex Tse, has formed Dark Hero Studios with producer Benedict Carver (Doomsday). The company will focus on creating film, TV,Internet and videogame projects in the action, sci-fi and horror fields. "Many people would love to have the studio-based producer gig, but ifyou want to build asset value through a library, you have to be moreentrepreneurial and avoid giving away a lot of rights upfront," Carver told Variety. Dark Hero’s slate begins with Demonology, a flick Hayter penned — and will direct — based on his experience going to an international high school in Japan.

You should see the pathetic “open letter” to fans of the Watchmen graphic novel he published on AICN begging us to go see his Watchmen hack job last weekend. Pa-the-tic.
The guy who wrote Watchman, good news or bad news, eh?
I loved Watchmen. Malin Akerman was so hot: http://www.actressscene.com/search/label/Malin%20Akerman
