America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks announced in a statement that she and the show’s producers are "doing everything we can" to audition "ALL the girls" who were turned away Saturday after the show’s New York City auditions ended in a melee that caused injuries and three arrests. "It is so important to me to…make sure that everyone gets a fair chance to pursue their dream," said Banks in the statement. The 13th cycle of the series is the first time women 5′ 7" and shorter have been allowed to audition for the show.

I used to live for this show but it has become tired and a joke. But I disagree with anoop, Make me a supermodel is dull and a bore. It needs some more fun and energy, what ANTM used to have.

I wanted to go to those auditions and now i’m glad i didn’t but i would still like another chance to try and get to them…not everybody can just hop on a bus and take off to LA if you live in NY…
I was going to go on saturday but i did not go, I always go to the auditions. That’s good that she having a another one for girl that want to model.

I honestly don’t think anyone from the NY audition should be considered because they showed a lack of class with what took place. I admit not all the women took part but the ones who did should be banned based on their actions. And I love New Yorkers too!
my daughter, who attends college in nyc, had no intention of going to the audition until approached (while working friday) by a casting person representing antm. i advised her not to go. antm rep should’ve invited her to the semi-finals, not that madness!she got excited & went anyway. didn’t make it to the door after nearly 12hrs. could’ve been seriously injured. all for what!!
If Tyra’s event managers had done their due diligence, there would have been sufficient crowd control in place to avoid such a disaster. If this was a PR stunt, Tyra should be ashamed of herself, as this ended in many injuries – not to mention mass panic and thousands of angry fans.

I am so upset. I drove my daughter from mass to nyc for what should of been a nice day in ny. But because the producers had no security ,no organization,and no clue, my other daughter and i watched in horror as the events unfolded.so many people could have been hurt or even trampled to death. there needs to be a plan soon as to how they are going to make this up to those girls. i have thought of contacting a lawyer but will wait and see how they take care of this.This was very traumatic to my family as well as thousands of others i am sure. please let us know how this will be resolved.
and one more thing there was a man in red with a b on his hat and his friend there who had family in the crowd of girls .but their behavior was absolutley insane they were yelling at models and arguing and saying very disrespectful things to the police. they then were the same guys who when all this happened ran into the crowd and started pushing girls around . but then they are seen in the video being brought out by the police and beaten. good for the police. these are hopefully the same people who got arrested. its too bad there has to be people like them in everycrowd
You people can’t possibly be mad at the producers of the show. This is like the…14th season of ANTM. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Be mad at the crazy females. Seriously, call your lawyers. Nothing can be done.
