Steve Dash (Can’t Buy Me Love, Bring It On: All or Nothing) has signed on to helm Crooked Arrows, a comedy about a 30-something Native American who puts off building his dream casino to coach an unfithigh school lacrosse team against the prep schoolhe used to play for. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the producing trio behind the underdog sports film— Mitchell Peck and Adam Leff, who co-wrote and exec produced Bio-Dome, and J. Todd Harris (Bottle Shock)— are still finalizing financing for the late-summer Upstate New York shoot but have already lined up endorsementsfrom Major League Lacrosse, the National Lacrosse League, USLacrosse and LaxFestUSA.
