A warrant for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest wasissued on Friday, but a lawyer for the actress says Lohan will notappear in court on Monday. Her lawyer will appear on her behalf, theAssociated Press reports.
Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan’s attorney, told the AP that the warrant was the result of a "misunderstanding." The warrant may have to do with Lohan’s drunken driving arrest in 2007,a police spokeswoman told the AP. On Saturday, Beverly Hills Police Lt. Mark Rosen said that the police were not ”actively looking” for Lohan, though if they came in contactwith her, "she’s subject to arrest." The star, whose filmLabor Pains opens in May, is currently serving three years’ probationfor the May and July, 2007 incidents, in which she was alleged to havebeen in possession of cocaine. In 2007, Lohanwas sentenced to three-years probabtion. She spent 84 minutes in jail. Her attorney told the AP that Lohan is in compliance with the terms of her probation. UPDATE: Access Hollywood reported Sunday that an anonymous source said Lohan’s arrest warrant stems from a recent trip the actress took, driving herself out of state to Las Vegas, thereby violating the terms of her parole.

Good, I’m glad for lindsay, she doesn’t have to be in court. I wish her the best and all the happiness in the world!!
Amber…..You’re a complete moron and are what’s wrong with the world today ! Now go back to living in your fantasy world dipstick.
why is she not going to be in court when there is a warrant for her arrest out. Does she not think it is important or does it not work with her drinking schedule!!
My word it sucks to be a second class citizen. As someone who got into legal trouble in my younger days, I could have never gotten away with stuff like this. Between this and Charles Barkley getting to wear street clothes rather than prison uniforms, this country and its law enforcement is absolutely absurd.
If she wouldn’t be a celeb she would be in jail!!! Was up with judges letting them of so easy?? 84min in jail???? That’s bullsh!t!!!! They should set an example not the opposite!!! Same goes for Paris, Britney……
yeah i agree the most popular people and the celebs get away with every thing! the disabled children should have some slack too. but no they dont because they think they should know better but they dont so yeah i think that she should be locked up.
In reference to Meg’s comment about Charles Barkley and how he was allowed to wear street clothes instead of a prison uniform. Do you think they had one that would fit him? I was just wondering if that was the case. It may have been cheaper to let him wear his clothes than have a uniform made for him.
Yea right if they have sizes for others that are way bigger than Charles Barkley im sure they can find a size for that guy who thinks that hes better than every1 eelse because he can shot a basketball. if he wants to go obove to show his equality to the people. he needs to show everyone is treeted the same
No she wouldn’t neccessarily be in jail if she wasn’t a celeb. It’s not that uncommon for a person to not appear in court personally if they have someone representing them. Especially if it’s not a major issue.
i am glad lindsay does not have to go to jail. Special people should not have to do that. and lindsay is special because she is a special person and that is why she is a important star. people who are not important do not understand because they are not important or stars and it is hard to look good and be a star
Run Lindsey Run!

Are you kidding? “Special people should not have to go to jail?” So are you saying that it’s okay for stars to break the law? I work in a women’s prison, filled with people from all walks of life who made stupid decisions. Lindsay Lohan needs to held accountable for her actions just like the rest of us.
Ginger…are you an idiot. Like seriously when you say special people to you mean mentally handicapped like you?
“special person”? Good grief. Celebs usually get away with things when they have money for expensive lawyers and bribes.
Things like this show that the only way to “justice” in this country now is having loads of money and looking good. The biggest crime it seems now is being poor. WTF have we come to?
Who cares?
With all the problems in the world, why does ANYONE give a continental D.A.M.N about a loser like Lohan.
I think its time for Lindsay et al to realise that she lives in the same world as the rest of us and when you have an addiction and can;t handle it, you inevitably end up in jail. Might be the only thing to get her clean and sober.
All of you who suppeort this chick are retarded. you should rot in prison with her. and Ginger. You are dumb. plain and simple. seriously? special people? are you sexist or are you just a plain retarded? or maybe you have no brain stem.
