Fox Broadcasting executive shakeup: Peter Ligouri out, Peter Rice in

Tagged:

There has been a big shakeup at Fox Broadcasting today: Fox Searchlight President Peter Rice will reportedly replace Peter Liguori as chairman of the TV network. Rice, who’s credited for the success of the indie arm of 20th Century Fox’s movie studio, will be replaced by Fox Searchlight vets Nancy Utley and Steve Gilula. Fox Searchlight was responsible for Slumdog Millionaire, this year’s Oscar winner for Best Picture. Ligouri had been at the network for five years.

That’s nice… Now, how does Peter Rice feel about sci-fi shows?

Now if Fox will just axe Rothman we might be in good shape.

Great! A change of management. Maybe FOX can “get it right” when it comes to their allies…..the Canadians. Your representative speaks the words of the station, and you folks not only owe the Canadians an apology, you need to start doing some stories on Canada. Your weather does not even report on anything above the great lakes. Why have I been a devoted fan of FOX? I’m wondering? These comments by more than one of your hosts, is not only bad taste, but shows how ignorant some people will get to raise their ratings. Now to the new management….lets see what you do to change it.

How about firing Gutfield for the hurt and insults at our men and women serving in Afghanistan, the familites of our fallen soldiers and for all soldiers who have served in the past
