Rebecca Romijn has been cast in the lead role in the pilot for ABC’s planned drama based on John Updike’s The Witches of Eastwick novel and the 1987 movie adaptation, Variety reports. Romijn, who has starred on ABC’s Ugly Betty, will play lead witch Roxie. Lindsay Price, Veronica Cartwright, and Jaime Ray Newman have already been cast in the pilot.

No…no……no NEW witch programs! I’m sorry…the networks killed off Charmed which was great until they brought the little blond (Big Bang Theory) in and it just stank. No vampire ones either…..what happened to Moonlite?
