Ghost, the 1990 hit supernatural love story, is set to be turned into a musical, Variety reports. The Oscar-winning film will head to London’s West End in 2010 with a book adaptation by Bruce Joel Rubin (who won an Academy Award for the film’s screenplay) and music and lyrics by the Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart and songwriter-producer Glen Ballard. Popular stage helmer Matthew Warchus (Boeing-Boeing) will direct. The exact dates and location of the production have yet to be announced.
