Oscar-winner Robin Williams will have heart surgery to replace an aortic valve, CNN reports. The news comes after the 57-year-old actor-comedian was forced to suspend an 80-city tour of his one-man show, Weapons of Self-Destruction, after concerns over shortness of breath prompted him to check into a hospital. It’s not known yet when the surgery will take place. In a statement, Williams says: "I’m so touched by everyone’s support and well wishes…. This tour has been amazing fun and I can’t wait to get back out on the road after a little tune-up."

I just want to say how much I enjoy your acting talent and the personification of those who your part requires.
I just got through watching August Rush and in that movie I find a silent, graceful and loving spiritual essence that can touch the soul to an uplifting high as nothing else can in a world starved to be loved.
The part you played touched what is in all of us, suffering, struggling and the pain of doing what it takes to survive in a world alien to happiness, contentment and most of all, a real reason to live, to appreciate life!
I pray, that you speak to the world in your characters rather than in the political arena, for greater power of communication to the world is in the parts you play.
