Rihanna has admitted that she once hit her brother with a glass bottle.
The Bajan beauty, who has topped the UK singles chart for the last six weeks with her smash hit ‘Umbrella’, confessed that she failed to see eye to eye with her two younger brothers while she was growing up.
She told Complex: “We talk all the time now, but we used to fight, and when I say fight, I don’t mean arguments. I mean we used to physically fight.
“One time I hit my older brother in the face with a glass bottle. My mum was pretty upset.”
I wish I could think of something helpful to say but all I can think about at the moment is the woman from Philadelphia that used to work as an abused womens councilior, the simple fact seems to me is that no matter how educated you are on the matter of abuse, the only way to not be abused is a complete ‘NO ABUSE TOLERANCE CHARTER’ that you must apply equaly in every aspect of your life. That is the only way change has ever been created. Simply put that means you do not abuse and you do not ever accept abuse, if anyone or any group abuse you in any way you must be wiling to take the steps needed in order to create that change. Making exceptions is deneying your self equality which is interperited as lack of self respect and self worth, and then they attack. At the same time self inflated pompasity may be viewed as negitive but it is actually good practice in expressing your own self worth and a clear statement of your desire to be treated equality and fairly.

I really don’t get why she would persist with the relationship assuming the beating thing is true. Its not like she is financially dependent on him as the case of other women who persist in abusive relationships. But its her life maybe she is into it, weird.
