The season 5 premiere of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance has been set for a two-hour episode on Thursday, May 21, and another 120-minute show on Wednesday, May 27. Cat Deeley will return as host; judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy will be back, too. Auditions are currently underway and will continue through March in Denver, Memphis, and Seattle.

YAY!!!!!! My favorite beyond favorite summer obsession! This is the BEST competition show out there…. bar none. DWTS is entertaining, but SYTYCD is 100 times better.

Honestly, I am conflicted on whether or not I want to watch this show anymore… I LOVE the show and have been an ubber huge fan, but found Nigel’s comments on the two men dancing together tonight as pretty offensive and narrow-minded.
