The Associated Press reports that an explicit photo of Madonna was sold on Feb. 12 in NYC for $37,500 — a record for a picture of the singer. The black-and-white image — featuring full-frontal nudity — was taken in 1979, when a 20-year old Madonna responded to a newspaper ad for nude models. The photo, along with five others from the same session, appeared in Playboy in 1985.
