Nicollette Sheridan leaving 'Desperate Housewives'

Nicollette Sheridan is leaving Desperate Housewives after five seasons playing Edie Britt, TV Guide is reporting. There is no word yet on when her departure from the hit ABC series will occur. In a statement to TV Guide, Sheridan’s representative said, "[Nicollette] had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project."

    The only way I will accept Edie dying on Desperate housewives is if she dies during sex or something sexually related…. seriously Edie Britt can go out no other way!!!

    Good for her! Cherry and Company have given her the shaft of minimal storylines and nothing to do for the last 3 seasons! Lets hope she lands a project that utilizes her talent!

    Hate to see her leave, but she seemed to be too much of an underdog on the show, her talents deserve a bigger part.
