Sam Rockwell has been cast as Hilary Swank’s brother in the legal drama Betty Anne Waters. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is based on the true story of an unemployed single mother (Swank), who earns a law degree to try to save her brother from serving life in prison after he’s convicted of murder and robbery. Tony Goldwyn will direct the film, which begins shooting this month. Rockwell well then move on to play Justin Hammer in Iron Man 2. Swank will get terrorized by Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Resident.

Rockwell is a marvelous actor and I have enjoyed everything he has ever appeared in. Not crazy about Hillary Swank but for Sam Rockwell, I’m there.
