Christopher Nolan's next movie...won't be a Batman sequel

Tagged:

The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan has signed on to direct the science fiction flick Inception for Warner Bros., according to The Hollywood Reporter. Based on Nolan’s own original screenplay, the film will be "a contemporary sci-fi actioner setwithin the architecture of the mind." Nolan is hoping to have it in theaters by summer 2010, which means that an anxiously awaited followup to The Dark Knight may have to wait a bit. Previously, Nolan directed The Prestige in the three-year interim between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Anything Christopher Nolan does is genius, so I’m sure “Inception” will be incredible. Can’t wait to hear who stars in it.

Awesome! Christopher Nolan and David Fincher are the only two directors where I will see their movies, no questions asked. I’ll be looking forward to Inception.

Enough of this guy, he made a good movie with an incredible performance by an actor that turned it into a fantastic movie. He needs to get over himself and just make the next sequel before they get someone else too cause Id bet anything no ones gonna wait around 2011 to make another Batman, gotta strike while its hot and Hollywood knows that.

JaySin420 you clearly dont understand the talent behind chris nolan before batman. sad that you dont appreciate it either. trust me i dont think warner bros. will risk loosing nolan to someone else for a batman sequel. im okay with a break for the next batman is there is one. and Brady i second your statement.

What’s wrong with Nolan making a movie inbetween Batman 2 and 3? Let him breathe, cleanse his palet before jumping back into Bruce Wayne. I personally would rather wait a little while and see a really good movie rather than rush the director and recieve a mediocre one. Geniusness takes time, let’s give him that.
