John Krasinski knows what he’ll be doing on his vacation from The Office. He’ll join Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin in an untitled comedy written and directed by Nancy Meyers (Something’s Gotta Give), Variety reports.
Krasinski starred opposite George Clooney and Renée Zellweger in last year’s Leatherheads. His feature directorial debut, an adaptation of David Foster Wallace’s Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, premiered at Sundance last month.

i just don’t get him. maybe this will change it?
John and Alec = the merger of two of my favorite tv actors! YAY! And Meryl, come on! This is a great cast.
Meryl Streep, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin in the same movie? Sweet. John Krasinski to smirk, roll his eyes and speak in his monotone voice? Um…
