Really? This is what people have been going crazy over? It certainly was a physically taxing role and he was good...worthy of a nomination, I suppose (this isn't the strongest year for leading actors). But certainly no better than Sean Penn, Frank Langella, or Richard Jenkins. I hope this doesn't increase his Oscar momentum.
