The second season of The CW’s supernatural comedy-drama Reaper will return to air March 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which is two weeks earlier than originally planned. The show, which stars Bret Harrison as a young man contractually obliged to be a bounty hunter for The Devil (Ray Wise), will air at 8 p.m. Tuesdays followed by 90210. The CW will still air the series’ 13 episodes straight, without repeats, as originally planned.

Will Reaper be able to survive American Idol? I’ve never really watched the show but i do support it as its the under dog and does seem to be quite good quality. I suppose it sort of makes sense not to air it against Fringe as well. We’ll have to wait and see how it does ratings wise but i would really like to see the cw doing better or it won’t be with us much longer!
Nice! I saw this over at ReaperSite and am glad to see it confirmed here
what about Privileged? that airs on Tuesdays!!
Privileged last episode (probably ever with those ratings) is on 2/17. I’m glad they have decided to air Reaper a few weeks early. I know the ratings won’t be strong with the competition on other nights but i’m hoping that the network recognizes what a quality show it is. Unfortunately this is the CW.
Hey, yeah, it was on at 9 before and I am sure some of the sensors preferred it there, I don’t want to see a family friendly Sock or them to rip down the mythology and then, um, American Idol?
This is all kinds of awesome.
I’m glad Reaper is coming back sooner! But I have a feeling this will be its last season. It was really starting to come together at the end last year. I hope they keep it up.
I think this is wrong … They are only doing this to try to protect 90210. I mean really why is that fair. When Reaper has lower then expected ratings they’ll blame the show rather then the fact that they put it against American Idol.
Or it’ll do great and then they’ll talk about how they always had faith in the show and trusted it against American idol. They are such hypocrites like that.
YAY!!!! I am super excited!! I have been waiting too long for this to come back!
As long as Reaper keeps its ratings above 2 million it should be fine and proabably get an order for next season. Privileged really does look dead in the water.
well this is a show we need to tell your friends to watch. a small bit of the superbowl party i was at was talking about when it will return and how the wisdom of Sok should be in book form
Reaper is a hugely underrated show. This was the only show that got better after the writer’s strike as the gay demon rebellion sub plot advanced the show just beyond a monster of the week storyline.
Let’s hope this is good news for Reaper, which is a great little show.
Why does Tyler Lebain or should I say Sock have to suffer again? Invasion should have never been cancelled. Reaper should stay on who cares about American Idol?
