John Carpenter to direct first movie since 2001

John Carpenter has agreed to direct the ghost story The Ward, starring Amber Heard (Pineapple Express) as a haunted mental patient, Variety reports. It will be the filmmaker’s first feature since 2001′s Ghosts of Mars.

I would like to see him make a come back. I would also like people to stop remaking his movies.

WoooHOO! My favorite Horror Director. Halloween is the best horror movie in the world. I love it to death, no pun intended.
