A rep for Mickey Rourke told the Associated Press last night that the Academy Award-nominated star of The Wrestler won’t be participating in Wrestlemania 25 in April at Houston’s Reliant Stadium. Rourke surprised the world (and, some say, hurt his Oscar chances) when he said he was taking part in the wrestling event on Sunday night before the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. The AP reports that the rep said Rourke will not take part because, "He is focusing entirely on his acting career."
