Shouldn’t this read: “…whom Chuck’s father accused of stealing his ideas.” As in past tense? Or am I missing a critical new bit of info -Chuck and Ellie’s parents are alive?
If I remember right, their mother died, but their father abandoned them and disappeared. I wonder if he’s showing up during sweeps?
scoots – I am not completely sure & someone correct me if I am wrong. Ellie & Chuck’s mother left them on Mother’s Day (hence their yearly dinner) and if I recall they relied on each other after their mother’s departure since their father wasn’t really around. And after Awesome proposed Chuck told Ellie that he was going to locate their father so he could walk her down the aisle…
It wasn’t literally Mother’s Day. That’s just what they called it. Both parents are alive — as far as we know. The mother just left when they were younger and once they grew up the father wasn’t really around.
I miss “Chuck”, I can’t wait for the Feb 2 return of the show. Why the bumped it for that silly dance show is beyond me.
And yes Chuck promised to find their father.
