Jennifer Hudson will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Fla. on Feb. 1, E! News reports. It will be the former American Idol contestant’s first public appearance since her mother and brother were murdered in October. Hudson previously sang "The Star Spangled Banner" at the Democratic National Convention in August. She is up for four Grammy Awards this year for her self-titled album.
