Very sad. Unfortunately this is usually the last stop. My dear mother went in the hospital for pneumonia and her cancer just took over. She improved for a heartbeat and then passed within a month. My prayers are with him.

It is not the last stop! I had PCP pneumonia, and I came back and am here five years later. It can happen. Patrick seems like he is realistic about his cancer, his chances and his life but is fighting. He’s a real inspiration to me.

Friends call him Buddy. Had the pleasure of flying Patrick & Lisa a couple of times from their ranch in Las Vegas NM. Wonderful people. My heart and prayers go out to them both. Stay alive. You can do it.

Wait, you had stage 4 pancreatic cancer and pneumonia and you are still here? I didn’t think so. I sure hope he comes through, but my family’s similar experience did not have a good outcome.

In 10 ten yrs as a carer Ihave witnessed miracles, bravery and attitude in my mothers recovery from cancer, thenlater again with one organ failure after another. Today She continues to inspire and amaze. My continued prayer is that Gods Holy spirit will equip and inspire researchers wordwide with the knowledge and wisdom necessary to treat, cure and irradicate all cancer and so much other dis-ease . To Patrick Swayze and lovely wife I say again (as in prior message) Keep going and our prayers will go ahead of you. May Mary surround you all with her precious mantle… God bless x

I am one of the millions of females out there that fell in love with Patrick when Dirty Dancing came out. I to like his wife dreamed that one day he would come and take me away. I was 16 at the time. He got me though a lot of bad times in my life. Im not sure he realizes just how many lives he has played a part in, and how much he will be missed by all. If a person could live through cancer on love alone, he would surely live forever.

Patrick you worked with my husband Jerry Moss on a surf movie with Keanu Reeves(Point Break). He was the Prop Master. Jerry used to tell me that you were the kindest most friendly actor to work with. Good day or bad you were so wonderful to the crew which made a huge impression on him. He was the same way. A very talented and in demand Prop Master who treated everyone with with respect.
He was diagnosed with stage 4 AdemaCarcenoma which is caused from exposure to Espestos and Radon. Basically from movie sets and chemicals that are thrown in front of trucks or horses,(diotomacious earth).
He ran the LA Marathon in April of 2004 and by August he was diagnosed. He chose to live knowing at stage 4 that his outcome was 3 months without treatment and feel good, or 9-12 months of torture to maybe help others and spend time with his children. The man who was afraid of needles chose to stay a little longer.
I wish you peace, thank you for touching our lives. You are special, say hi to Jerry!
