Yay House, Hugh Laurie and Dark Knight. But Alec Baldwin should have a category of his own. Maybe like favorite funny yummy star who elevates anything he is in and you want to kiss him. Is that O.K.
2 1/2 Men has devolved into a sex joke followed by a bathroom joke followed by 2 sex jokes (not funny) followed by an “I don’t get it” joke (kid) followed by a sex joke followed by an old person joke (mom) followed by, well you get it.
Um you knew who the winner was b4 they would announce it because only the winners of each cat. were in the audience. I thought it was stupid…but oh well!
Horray Dr. Horrible for internet sensation! Really, was there any competition? Kudos to House and Hugh Laurie as well!
Rock Song???!!!!! You mean that rip off of both Werewolves of London and Sweet Home Alabama. Wow, the kid really pulled it off. Not rock AND a not original. Congrats Kid!
Yay!!!!! for the Dark Knight!!!! Greatest Movie EVER!!!!!! I am so glad it won although i am so heartbroken that Heath Ledger was not alive to get any of the awards or see the final product. Congrats to Heroes!!!! And Dr. Horrible!! thank God people finally realized how amazing it was!!! I agree with most of these except for all of the country songs and that stupid one by Kid Rock.
Loved the fact that House beat out Greys in best actor and drama series. Go Hugh Laurie!
So who does Robert Sean Leonard have to sleep with to get nominated?
Heroes didn’t deserve a win but Kanye and Letterwoman lost so justice was served.
The Dark Knight is a piece of overrated trash.
No wonder it was people’s choice.
shut up meso soup. apprenatly you haven’t seen it or maybe you just don’t like it because it’s popular.
Watch for anyone of these movies to win the People’s Choice next year:

Me!!! Smoochie:)
I’d like to know how the People’s Choice Awards pick their voters because obviously they’re not doing a good job. C’mon. You mean to tell me that the “people” actually think the “The Secret Life of Bees” was the Best Drama Movie and Best Independent Movie? First off, when were these polls taken? Second, do these voters even know what an independent film is? I find it hard to believe the The Secret Life of Bees would beat out such worthy independent films like In Bruges, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Visitor, Happy-Go-Lucky, Slumdog Millionaire, The Wrestler, etc. And House is the Best TV Drama??? I’d give the award to either Lost or Mad Men. The People’s Choice Awards is a sham. I’m glad I didn’t watch it.
No Alex – its because its overrated crap. A big steaming pile of it. I saw the movie in the theatre and was forced to watch it again on DVD.
Well then meso soup you are entitled to your own opinion.
really Meso.. you were FORCED to watch it? really???
This is James Gilks (owner of SerialKillerCalendar.com) personally I would love it if they took the idea of the Riddler to a very dark extreme. His character is very close to real life serial killers like David Berkowitz (the son of sam) and the Zodiac Killer. Many serial killers (including Jack The Ripper and The Red Spider) have sent letters to the police and the Zodiac killer sent cryptograms (which where in essence a type of riddle). I think that if Hollywood is willing to take these films to the gritty dark side of real life, they should focus more on this angel and abandon the tacky jump suit wearing, cartoon aspect that Jim Carey brought to the screen. I would love to see a down right evil and twisted serial killer side to the Riddler.
I also believe that they are setting up The Mad Hatter for a future movie. If you watch carefully, Batman says that the man Dent is interrogating in The Dark Knight (the creepy smiling guy from the ambulance) is named “Jervis Tetch”. This is The
